Upper-Intermediate English II -- Listening & Speaking This is a one-semester, 2 credits course for Upper-intermediate to high-intermediate English language proficiency level learners. The couse aim is to build learners’ listening and speaking communication skills. Thematic-based texts invite learners to extend and utilize their existing knowledge while exploring new contexts. This course targets on leading learners to using critical thinking approaches while exploring various thematic units. Communication, comprehension, and critical thinking are the three prime learning objectives. This class welcomes individual learning performance as well as community approach learning. Members will be assessed based on their individual, pair- up, and study team performances. The following is a tentative schedule; it is subject to change when necessary.

AI software applications such as ChatGPT, and others, must only be used with your classroom teacher's approval and/or permission. 4. You must follow your teacher's instruction on when or how to use AI software, ex. the use of ChatGPT, for producing your homework, assignment, test, exam, projects, or reports. 5.
