Brief

With the discovery of gravitational waves in 2015 a new window to the universe opened up and we are still at the beginning of its exploration. In this course, we want to discuss the basic physics of gravitational waves and how they can be detected in a laboratory. If time allows and depending on demands we will also discuss physics implications of their detection, future detectors and/or other uses of gravitational wave detectors.
