本課程主要分成兩大部分: 第一部分(Part I)為針對品質管理相關議題之基本觀念及方法進行簡介,並從技術面、管理面及制度面的概念與作法做深入 的探討,期能使學生對抽象的觀念有具體的了解,理論與應用並重,以奠定日後從事品質管理、分析及改善的能力。 第二部分(Part II)介紹作業管理與智慧製造:Operations Management (OM) is evolving and growing. This course provides an introduction to OM, covering both strategic issues and practical applications: product and service design, capacity planning, facilities layout, inventory planning, material requirements planning, lean production, and intelligent manufacturing. Many of these topics are individual courses by themselves, and therefore this course can be treated as an integration of several courses in OM areas.
