Brief

This course is the second part of undergraduate intermediate Microeconomics. This course intends to apply more advanced tools, including algebra and calculus, to analyze various microeconomic issues. In this semester, we will mainly study the properties of various markets, and consumers’ and producers’ decisions in these markets. The topics in this course include general equilibrium and economic welfare, monopoly and monopsony, pricing and advertising, game theory, oligopoly, uncertainty, asymmetric information, etc.
