This course is intended for graduate and senior undergraduate students whose major is Physics or Astrophysics. We will discuss fundamentals of radiative transfer, radiation fields, and various emission mechanisms to generate radiation in astrophysical systems. The class is aimed at building a solid foundation for students to further pursue astrophysical research in all fields of astronomy.
