本精密機械設計課程是專門針對設計製造領域的大學部大四、碩士班及博士班學生開設的課程,分成兩個學期,上學期主要是 以系統設計為主,下學期則是以零組件為主。上學期課程內容除簡介外,包括精密機械之解析度、重複精度及準確度的定義、 應用與影響因素;類比式精度感測器;光學式精度感測器;精度感測器的安裝及校正;案例討論─精密車床之誤差量測、追蹤 及校正。下學期內容包括精密機台結構設計;接觸式軸承系統;非接觸式軸承系統;動力與傳動元件設計。上下學期總共有七 至八個實驗,均與精密機械設計相關,以幫助學生了解課程內容。
