物理研究所必修之量子力學 Knowledge of quantum mechanics required for graduate students in physics.
Course keywords: 量子力學,路徑積分,微擾理論,散射理論,quantum mechanics,path integral,perturbation theory,scattering theory 本門課英文授課 This course is offered in English This course aims for knowledge of quantum mechanics for advanced students, assuming they have taken the quantum mechanics course offered by the instructor in the Fall semester. This semester we will cover advanced topics such as path integral, Berry phase, Quantum statistics, etc. Teaching Method/Materials: based on lectures by the instructor. Recommended textbook: Modern Quantum Mechanics, 3rd edition, by J.J. Sakurai and Jim Napolitano References: Any standard textbook in QM should be a good reference. Classical ones include 1.Principles of Quantum Mechanics, 2nd edition, by R. Shankar. 2.Feynman's Lectures on Physics, Vol.3 3.Quantum Mechanics, I & II, by A. Messiah 4.Quantum Mechanics, 3rd edition, by Landau & Lifshitz Syllabus: Syllabus will be posted on the eLearn website for this course. Grading policy: TBD (will announce in the first class and posted on eLearn). The following is required by the University. Don't worry if you don't understand what they have to do with the course. Policy regarding the usage of AI: AI usage is not applicable for this course. Plan for the 17th and 18th week: Will provide extra self-study materials.
