The field of extra-solar planets, i.e. exoplanet, has become a popular and important subject in astronomy and astrophysics. This course will make students to have opportunities to learn about the background, the knowledge, and the research of exoplanets.

This course will make students to have opportunities to learn about the background and the knowledge of this field, including the methods of detecting exoplanets, the planetary dynamics, the atmosphere of exoplanets, the planet formation, the recent observational and theoretical results, and the future direction of this field. Perryman Teaching Method: It is mainly taught in English, but I will make students have no any language problems. Although the above books are good, I do not feel there is any one book can be the main text book of this course. I will describe in details on the important topics. In addition, students will have chances to think about possible research projects, and present their proposals or results.
