This course introduces general concepts of Psychology, such as the basic principles of psychophysiology, sensation, perception, memory, learning, cognition, personality, psychological disorders, and social psychology, as well as the applications in industrial engineering and everyday living.

For those who are really interested (or requiring this course for graduation), extra selection would be allowed with a limited number to ensure the quality of this course. It would be better to fill this online questionnaire out to inform the instructor of your request in advance, so as not to miss the important announcement being posted via eeclass prior to the first class. You are required to come to the first class on Feb. 19. The priority depends on how important or necessary this course is for the student: (i) senior students or those in his/her fifth year (IEEM major, double major in IEEM, minor in IEEM, IEEM as first/second specialty); (ii) other senior students or those in his/her fifth year; (iii) junior students (IEEM major, double major in IEEM, minor in IEEM, or IEEM as first/second specialty); (iv) sophomore students (IEEM major, double major in IEEM, minor in IEEM, or IEEM as first/second specialty); (v) freshman students who plan to transfer to IEEM, take double major/minor in IEEM, or choose IEEM as first/second specialty; (vi) other junior, sophomore, or freshman students. --
