Brief

This is an experimental course for students interested in the application of biology and biomedical materials in biomedical engineering related sciences. It will teach the basic technique for conducting research in the fields of biomedical engineering sciences.

Course keywords: 生醫材料實驗、生醫分析實驗、biomedical materials、biomedical engineering sciences 一、課程說明(Course Description) This is an experimental course for students interested in the application of biology and biomedical materials in biomedical engineering related sciences. It will teach the basic technique for conducting research in the fields of biomedical engineering sciences. 課程設計涵蓋兩個面向： I 生醫材料： (a)生化小分子與蛋白質大分子材料之製備與性質分析 (b)生物高分子與奈米粒子之製備與性質分析 II 生醫分析： (a)材料與蛋白質之耦合分析 (b)材料與細胞之耦合分析 (c)細胞分析 課程精神為生醫分析可經由生醫材料的製備以進行生物系統的探索。 二、指定用書(Text Books) Handouts will be provided in the class. 三、參考書籍(References) 四、教學方式(Teaching Method) Laboratory 五、教學進度(Syllabus) 採分組上課，詳細分組時段於第一周上課宣布。 課程內容包含： Exp1/討論1：Preparation of the substrate for beta-galactosidase (半乳糖水解脢受體 之製備) (俞鐘山教授) Exp2/討論2：Preparation and swelling characterization of pH-sensitive hydrogels (酸鹼應答型水膠製備與膨潤性質分析) (邱信程教授) Exp3/討論3：Synthesis of Ferrofluid and the Properties under External Magnet (磁 流體的製備與在磁場下的作用) (胡尚秀教授) Exp4/討論4：Gold nanoparticles: Synthesis, characterization and determination of BSA adsorption.
