This course helps the students navigate the social and professional situations they will encounter in the English-speaking environments. It also provides an integrated-skills program to develop English skills, critical thinking, and learning strategies required for students’ academic success. With the carefully-guided language lessons, real-world stories, and updated videos, this course helps the students expand their overall fluency while developing the tools and strategies necessary for effective, real-world communication. In class, the students have opportunities for practicing English from different perspectives and they are expected respond to the unit theme and express their own ideas confidently in English.
