Brief

The Undergraduate Colloquium (I) is aimed to introduce interesting physics research areas to undergraduate students, so that students can get a broader view of physics research outside their regular courses. We will invite physicists to share not only their fruitful and exciting research progresses but also to talk about their experience and passion to science. In this course, students are expected to explore new topics in physics and to get to know the ideas/motivation behind research. It is a good opportunity for undergraduate students to take a peek at the excitement of the career in physics. In addition, we will invite speakers working in industry to share their perspectives on the role of physics plays in their work and on students with a physics background.
