Brief

In this course, the elementary components of statistical inference will be covered, mainly in estimation and testing hypotheses. Some commonly used nonparametric tests will also be taught. Students who want to take this course must have basic knowledge on fundamental probability and random variable distribution. Some other knowledges, such as Calculus and Linear Algebra are also needed.
