Brief

This course is designed to help the students use stories to teach English to children in the classroom. A wide variety of English stories and associated activities will be introduced in class. In addition, guidance on the key aspects of language teaching, teaching examples, and discussion of actual classroom materials and techniques will be provided and practiced.

Attendance 10% 3.1) Your attendance: 100*(1-absent weeks/16)*20% 3.2) Asking for personal leave should be done by e-mail ahead of the absent week. 3.3) E-mail me if you ask for sick leave, Epidemic prevention leave, or Self- health management leave within the absent week. 3.4) Without emailing, your absence will lead to a loss of points in Attendance. 4. Participation, In-class activities, assignments 30% **You will lose all points of in-class activities/quizzes because of your being absent or taking a leave. ** Exceptions: Official Leave, Epidemic prevention leave (based on the notice from Academic Affairs Office) 5. Optional: A bonus Story-telling Test will be held on 4/20
