Brief

In this course, we will invite a lot of speakers from different research fields, including mechanical engineering, material science, electrical engineering, MEMS technology, art, experimental safety, consultation and so on. The purpose of this course is to let the students learn multi- disciplinary knowledge which allow them to communicate with those in different research fields. The course will be given in English.

Chair Li of iNEMS will give welcome remarks and introduce the institute for us as well. 一、課程介紹(Course Description) 此為奈微所專題演講課程，上課時間為3：20-5：00。9月9日開始。 演講日程表將於第一次上課公布。 重要公告: 請於9/16(星期一)的Europe-Taiwan MEMS Workshop參與任一講者的演講(工程一館 107教室)，聽完演講後請寫成一頁A4報告，轉成pdf檔後於當天9/16結束前寄給助教王銘瑋 (email: cenawang0216@gmail.com)，當天未寄送報告則以當次缺席計。報告上請記得寫上姓名 學號。 二、成績考核(Evaluation) 1. 缺席三次或三次以上，則此科不及格。 2. 演講結束後，請立刻繳交演講內容簡要筆記(一張A4)，若上課有提問，提問者請在報告中加 註提問的問題及演講者的答覆，並請加上明顯標示。報告必須在當天演講結束後10分鐘內繳交給 助教，不能事後補交。報告頁首請寫上學號姓名。 3. 上課時手機請關機，遲到請從後門進入，請勿干擾演講者。 4. 請勿代寫筆記，違者不計分。 5. 公假(須學校正式公假單)請在前一週上課時將公假單交給助教，病假(須公立醫院正式證明) 請在一週後的上課時間將病假單交給助教，按規定請公假或病假的學生，當次分數以該次全班平 均分數計算。逾時或未繳交假單者則視為該次缺席。 6. 演講日程可能會有所變動，會提前以email通知大家，請留意收信，並請留下正確email帳號 於校務資訊系統。 助教: 王銘瑋 (email: cenawang0216@gmail.com) A. Course Description iNEMS seminar course hours: Monday, 3：20 - 5：00. Don't be late! The first class starts on September 9th. The lecture calendar will be announced in the first week. Important announcement: Please attend Europe-Taiwan MEMS Workshop on 9/16 at R107, Engineering Building 1. Choose one lecture and write a report (one A4 page). Send the pdf file of your report to the teaching assistant (Mr. Ming-Wei Wang, email: cenawang0216@gmail.com) by the end of 9/16. Later submission (or no submission) of reports will be regarded as “absence”. Please write down your name and student ID on the report. B. Evaluation: 1. If the student is absent for three times or more, he/she will fail the course. 2. Please hand in your note (one A4 page) that records the important content and outlines of the lecture right after the class (within 10 minutes). Please write down your name and student ID on the report. 3. If you ask questions during the lecture, please write down your questions and also the answers given by the speakers on the note. Highlight them clearly. 4. Please turn off the cell phone during the lecture. If you are late, please enter the classroom from the back door. 5. Please write the note by yourself, or the score will not be counted. 6. If you are absent for official reasons, please give TA your formal absent form issued by the university at least one week before the event. If you are absent for sickness, please give TA the certificate issued by a public hospital in the next week after the event. For an absent student who hands in the absent form in time, the student's score is given as the average score of the class; otherwise, the score will not be given. 7. The lecture schedule is subject to change. If any change is made, an announcement will be sent to the students via email.
